In this video, I prepared the bike for reassembly by painting the frame, cleaning the engine, reassembling the front forks with new boots, and polished up all of the parts that I have painted! Stay tuned for the next video, the reassembly!

Glad you was able to find the right size boots for your fork Mason everything looking good so far and don't let no body tell you what to do man . We the old subscriber know how you solve the problem by trial and error I do the same it is how you learn in the process besides it is more joyful that way so if you don't like it sanded and clear coat it again. Good choice of 2k clear 👌 👏 that's the trick

Ya. Can’t wait for the assembly and it’s first ride. Those boots look good. Didn’t it have that style when the bike was brand new?? I’m asking cuz I don’t know. Anyway. Good stuff man. Be safe.

Hi there, as a retired spray painter you shudda flattened the tank with 600 wet not dry and finished off with 800 wer not dry, you should never use too rough wet n dry to start with on something you just clear coated just use rough wet n dry on rough surfaces like rust etc, nice video man 😊
