One point you could add is that while bluffing at the surface level is about beating stronger hands its also about making it expensive for other players to realize their equity. This goes in hand with the idea of bluffing more in the early round

My biggest problem when bluffing is just getting nervous if my opponent thinks about it for to long, Which ends up making the bluff fail I try to think how i’d play if I had a good hand but it’s hard.

The key to bluffing is easy: show ALL of ur hands, and only play the good ones. When u get a good hand and miss on the flop, let the bluff begin! They won’t know the difference because you’ve only been playing good hands. Also keep increasing the bet, and start off big to scare any stragglers that make their hand on the turn or river.

Ok so I get it. I realized after watching this that I basically SUCK at bluffing. Now to my question. How do you bluff when you CANNOT see your opponents? Like ONLINE play? You cannot determine if their long decision making is a strategy or just them being lazy and doing other things while playing (I am guilty of that too)

My second question is how do you gain confidence in bluffing when your hand is garbage? Like in one of my hands, I had 3 and 2 (different suits) but the community cards are showing a royal flush (at least what looks like one)?


THIS is my bigger problem. I can only bluff if my hand shows promise (like at least one is an Ace, consecutive values on a King, consecutive lower value with same suits or just same suit). Otherwise, I feel like I NEED to fold. Since it always backfires to me and usually I AM THE ONE getting bluffed. How do I get that assurance and confidence that my two pairs are enough to win the pot and not get blown by a FULL HOUSE?
