A humble slice of classic banoffee pie. Biscuit crust, sweet toffee filling, fresh bananas and a creamy topping.

BASE INGREDIENTS: 300g digestive biscuit, 150g melted butter, 75g light brown sugar

FILLING INGREDIENTS: 400g condensed milk, 75g brown sugar, 75g butter, 2 small bananas cut into slices

CREAM TOPPING: 300ml whipped cream, 3-4 tablespoons icing sugar, grated milk chocolate, cocoa powder for dusting

1. Crush the biscuits into a fine crumb
2. Mix in butter and sugar
3. Pat into the bottom of a 9” springform tin
4. Warm butter and sugar until melted
5. Add in condensed milk and constantly stir until thicker and darker in colour
6. Pour over the base and top with bananas
7. With an electric whisk, whisk the icing sugar and cream together until thick in consistency
8. Pour over the top and grate chocolate on top. Dust with cocoa powder.

1. Fry your chips in oil until golden
2. Once golden, place chips in a plate lined with tissue paper and blot excess oil dry
3. Mix all the herbs and seasonings in a plate
4. Shake 3/4 of the powder generously over the chips, set 1/4 of the powder aside
5. Shake the chips so each is evenly covered in the seasoning
6. Sprinkle the remaining seasoning on top
7. Enjoy hot!
