While in the throes of COVID, Dr. Drew Pinsky developed diverticulitis. He went on a steroid that really helped his symptoms of diverticulitis, but also, much to his surprise, it also helped his COVID symptoms. He shares he signed up for an infusion of antibodies and it was all covered by insurance, and says it stopped his progression. Dr. Drew recommends to talk to your doctor about steroids and antibodies, use telemedicine, and don’t go to the ER unless you desaturate or have shortness of breath and really need it.

I had monoclonal treatment when I got Covid, but it only helped for a few hours. After my infusion, my temperature jumped back up to 105. Then I took iver, hydroxy, and an antibiotic which knocked it out, and I was back at the gym in 3 days.
