Removing the baffles from the stock air filter box then fabricating a cold air intake from PVC pipe, fittings and glue for a total cost of $33.00AU. All cut off bits and intake pipe removed weighed 1,5kg!
Sound test video coming up after I replace the timing and balance shaft belts.

Wow... my 2.0 TS 147 had a different intake, a much simpler and straight. It was replaced with a K&N pipe and cone filter anyway...

Hi. Nice mod. im thinking of doing this for my 1.6TS. Are you still running this and how are the sounds ? Did you notice any power improvements ?

A good watch matey, are we going to hear what it sounds like? also its probably too late now to record but the timing belt change and use of tools for cam locking and TDC setup. wish i had your space. greets from uk
