the AI question startled me - how could AI be used in classical music - all it can do is perform the songs - which is what human artists are already doing - AI could improvise in dramatic ways - but humans could do that too - and some have already done that - but strangely - many fans of the genre prefer to hear the music performed while adhering to the original composition

i wonder if classical music fandom could be considered cults of personality - where fans follow the artists and their interpretations - they already know and appreciate the music
