Other 2 easy ways to find the poles of solenoid is that
1. the end from where current is going into is south pole and the end where current is coming out is north pole
2. the side which is connected to negative terminal is the North pole and the side which is connected to the Positive terminal is the South pole.
Remember N-N which means Negative-North or North is connected to Negative terminal
