190 bucks for retail is normal for the Kobe line. His shoes would retail for like 200 bucks when he was still playing. I remember getting the Kobe 9’s for 220 from footlocker when they first dropped in 2014

bro i love these shoes ive had them for 6 months now but the material on the shoe rips easily and the insole makes your feet burn. it literally felt my feet were on fire. also if you have sensitive feet/feet problems, id be careful with this shoe. everything is perfect except the comfort and durability when playing.

I been waiting for somone to do a review on these. I have these but I'm not a big fan of the cushion. I did swap it out with 2 different drop ins... a full length zoom unit and one with a zoom unit on the back. Prefer those over the stock drop in

Can you try putting the zion 3 insole in these?

the added weight probably comes from the new padded tongue and heel. maybe even the stitched swoosh and maybe the react drop in too.
the original had no padding at all in the tongue, and minimal padding in the heel. the swoosh was printed on, and maybe lunarlon is less dense and lighter than react.
i didnt mind the tongue on the original, even though it always slipped to the side of your foot and never stayed up, but you never noticed as you were playing so it didnt ever matter if it slipped. but i aint gonna complain about extra padding. i doubt ill even notice the difference in weight anyways. (ive yet to play in my 8 protros)

I have both the original Kobe 8s and the protros, *unpopular opinion but I actually preferred the tongue on the og felt more breathable and less bulky on the top of ur foot with the thinner tongue and holes.

This is my first pair of Kobes ever and i can't wait to try them on. I bought them in my TTS so i hope that it fits me. I had the PG 5 TTS and it fits me fine and I have yet to play in a pair of shoes that was as good as fhe PG 5s

Has anyone tried implementing the Zion 3 SE drop-in midsole or the SeriosPlayerOnly Explosive drop-in midsole to the Kobe 8 Protros? react is good but with age and my kness i would need more cushioning - wanted to see if anyone has tried any of these if it fits, before pulling the trigger to not waste money

I mean i dont understand why they can put a god damn zoom in the midsole ??? Not have to be big like zion 3 like small one like before is fine or either the heel or front 😅😅
