Climate change is real and it is evident with the increased frequency and intensity with which we are experiencing forest fires, floods, storms, rising sea levels caused by melting ice caps, droughts, water stress, changing corp yield, habitat degradation, extreme weather phenomena like heatwaves and extreme cold, noted Dia Mirza, Actor, UNEP Goodwill Ambassador. Ms Mirza who is also UN Secretary General's Advocate for SDG called to remind our leaders to limit global heating to 1.5° Celsius, cut carbon pollution, invest in renewable energy, support and fund climate action in developing countries and stop the destruction of nature.

Because it describes WEATHER NOT climate above.
When you examine the data we are experiencing LESS forest fires, there has been NO increase in either floods or storms, (indeed there appears to have been a decrease), melting Arctic ice and Antarctic ice shelves add 0 mm to sea levels, indeed the Greenland and Antarctic land ice mass is INCREASING,
the Arctic summer ice melts are variable sometimes large sometimes much smaller overall the winter ice mass is within 1% of average.
Crop yields ARE changing, they are INCREASING due to higher Co2 levels, which plants much prefer,
with higher Co2 levels plants use LESS water, droughts are NOT linked to warming temperature, and extreme weather phenomena have NOT increased.
Stridently proclaiming that climate change is real is like daring someone to deny sunrise.
Climate change is a normal natural constantly ongoing earth process thats been in operation for
billions and billions of years.
Having said that though the data is clear climate is TOTALLY within normal variability, nothing unusual is happening, thats also true of temperature and weather.

Mining for crypto currency is based on useless computation that is adding no value to humanity. There is no tangible asset generated. All it is doing is increasing some virtual counters and keeping a record of transactions using blockchain tech. On the other hand, it is using up so much of energy which requires adds on to the carbon footprint, and the rigs itself generate so much heat adding to already alarming global warming situation. Imagine, the amount of heat produced by your gaming PC when playing games. Imagine the amount of heat generated by the rigs with multiple such graphics cards.. You can see this happening all around the world now, heavy rains, flash floods, land slides, water level rising, temperature level rising, snow caps melting, etc.. All this for what? This is the most dangerous use of technology which is threatening the existence of human race.
