Krystal misses Candice's point. Biden's whole schtick is unity. Let's see which one is more uniting: (i) begrudgingly crediting your predecessor for one of the few things he did well, or (ii) continuing to take credit for it and saying all your failures are because of the last administration. If Biden was not pushing the unity narrative then his tactics would be fine. Instead, he's doing the old "no offense, but" and then saying something offensive.

I actually think it would go far to Trump supporters to recognize his part in getting the vaccine out. We need the unity he claimed to start working on. I think most people realize what this check is going to do, drive up inflation. It would have done a lot to try to speak to everyone, not just his constituency. I would also like to see him, answer some tough questions. I’m not a R or a D, I’m a regular guy that sees beyond all this.
