It's a Babolat Pure Aero 98. It's painted black with the Wilson W as he has contracts with them. Surely Babolat have already been in touch to snap him up.

First time I agree with him. Well done. Hope that your game continues to improve

Huge change from a Blade Pro to Pure Aero 98. The benefits of Pure Aero 98 are very easy to spot. Bigger sweetspot, a lot more free power, more stability, faster response, more confidence on hitting early, easier manooovrlbity, easier control and better spin potential. It is a big surprise for me that he switched to it, but as he mentioned - tennis is more difficult now with the balls and courts being slower so to kill to ball, you need a weapon (Pure Aero 98), instead of a surgical tool (Blade Pro).

I wish Tsitsi he will finally find his peace in his game thanks to this switch. I think more players from the TOP 20 should really consider switching their racquets. Like Zverev, Rublev, De Minaur, Dimitrov... They all keep missing something in their game and somehow it always look to me that the mistakes they make very often come from nowhere and this can be thanks to the wrong racquet/string setup they use.

Would love to see some more 2005 style Gonzalez ripping some shots. Rather than that Kyrgios just casual spin a ball

So what's his new racket? At first I saw him with Babolat Pure Aero 98 with a black frame. Then I see him use maybe the same frame with Wilson strings?

Hopeful, the racquet manufacturer will release a glossy black racquet!😊

Its a pure aero 98, you can tell by the grommets. Hes not using an older model as that wouldnt make any sense.

The truth is that you should have realised four years ago and make some tests that shows that you and your team weren’t good enough

This is not a good look for Wilson. Can’t say it is unexpected. For years now every company has been trying to come up with some kind of power-spin hybrid or power-oriented players frame—everyone but Wilson. Neither the Shift nor the Clash went over well with touring pros because they still didn’t emphasize power enough. Wilson still has the Ultra but it is crude and unrefined in comparison to the latest batch of rackets like the Pure Aeros, Pure Drives, Pure Strikes, Ezones, VCores, TFights, Speeds, Extremes, Booms, and SX and FX lines. Except for the pro stock Ultras—which are supposedly not real Ultras in terms of power—all Ultras only come in 100 head sizes and offer no real comfort or stability technology. The Pro Staff is essentially a firmer Blade that is lighter on feel but outstanding in directional control but still without much power. Even with the RF01 all of Wilson’s frame are essentially players frames that lean predominantly toward control with only modest accommodation for more forgiveness and power. Wilson either needs to modernize the Ultra and offer more options on headsize, weight, and comfort or revamp the Pro Staff or Blades to give them more pop to play like the TFights or Speeds. This is to say nothing of the gap in the line-up that offers what a Pure Aero or Ezone does. Maybe that means more Shift models. If not, they may lose more guys like Tsitsipas, which would be a shame because he has such an elegant style.
