In this quick video i show you how to make what i call a "spirited" oxymel which indicated the presence of vodka!

So unlike a traditional oxymel that is just vinegar+honey+herb i add in 100 proof vodka and i tell you why!

Also because i see i spaced mentioning it let this set for 6-8 weeks in a cool dark place shaking once a week then press out and enjoy taking a dropper full as needed!

That's exactly how it's supposed to be. You take care of things for the winter, and the winter for spring and summer. So getting your medicine ready in the summer for the winter is exactly what people should be thinking you are so right Miss April👏👍👏👍👏👍

I just made a quart, with heaven only knows what amount of spruce tips, raw organic acv, raw organic cat claw honey, and Everclear, because that's what I had in the pantry. Wish me luck, and thank you so much for the video! And thank Ball for their new leak proof caps. Acid resistant, non metal. Yay!

Love your approach in your videos. Such a beautiful jar. I think it requires a rubber gasket to prevent leaks.

Where did you get your jars from-? I can only find ones with metal lids- or very tiny, or super large fermenting jars- could you post a link? Am living in Mass, we have blue spruce that make a beautiful salt, and tea. looking forward to trying the Oxymels
