Headlight Removal and Bulb Replacement on 2013 Kia Soul

This video shows the removal of the headlight assembly from a 2013 Kia Soul. I remove the headlight assembly and then show how to replace each of the 4 bulbs in it.

GREAT Your video is the best of all the videos, describing how to replace the front end bulb(s) for a KIA Just telling us about the clip was the game changer. Only 2 bolts need to be removed. Not 3 or 4 like in the other videos. It took me less than 5 minutes to replace the headlight bulb and a couple minutes longer to replace the marker light. It took about the same time to put the light component into it's compartment. No one did this better than you.

A heads up to everyone regarding the bulbs. The owner's manual erroneously says the low beam bulb is an H7 and the high beam is an H11B. The computer at the auto parts store also shows this. But as we can see in the video, the low beam is actually an H11B (and the high beam is an H7). I verified this myself. So if you are replacing low beams, get the the H11B.

Thank you for this video. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to reach the low beam bulbs. It was much easier just to remove the entire housing like this. Once the housing is disconnected it's much easier to see what you're doing and easier to prevent the new bulbs from touching anything when installing. It also lets you bring the part indoors to work on it which is helpful in the cold winter.

Thanks for this video! Just changed my low-beam headlight on my 2012 Soul by following your procedure, and I was done in 10 minutes. The H11B is the correct bulb for the low-beam headlight.

Thank you for making this clear and easy to follow. 2nd time.ive had to do this on the driver side. Last time I somehow managed to pull the light out by some miracle but I couldn't be bothered to fight with it today. Taking the whole thing out is honestly just faster and less frustrating
