The gauntlets were connected to the pads for the purpose of if someone were to try and break his arm they couldn't due to the restriction on the plating. 🤘

I’m just like you I didn’t pick up the Nolan verse figures and this is already a day one purchase but adding joker bane and cat woman would be icing on the cake!

I agree, I am new to Hot Toys and 1/6th scale collecting. I am happy that they are releasing this figure again, as I missed out on them. I really want that '89 Batman and Joker. I wish that Hot Toys would remake those figures.

I have absolutely none of the Dark Knight Batman figures and had to kitbash my MMS68 Joker to make it look like the DX11 2.0 by keeping the body, but mainly using the DX11 accessories. I was pretty new to Hot Toys at the time, and too late to grab the updated versions before they were sold out and realized they went for hundreds to thousands of dollars in the aftermarket.

Once I received the surprise notification that Hot Toys had a newer version for preorder, I did so in a heartbeat. Same for the Batpod. I find Nolan's Batman Trilogy to be the best film series to date, so there was no way I was going to miss out on this release. Thank you for the video, Justin!

The first release, the dx 12 was the first hot toys i ever owned back in 2013...i loved that figure so much but something about the eyes was very off..there was too little black paint around the eyes...
so glad they correct that...

Love the Batpod but a part of me really wants a 1/6 scale Tumbler as well.

I can't wait for this! I ordered both the figure and the bat pod day one! There are 2 things I wish they fix.
1.) They need to make the magnetic neck shorter. The last 2 releases were a bit too long.
2.) The light up feature for the EMP gun needs to light up the entire barrel. The LED only lit up one spot on the DX12 version.

Wonder if Batman will actually fit on the Batpod this time around (since the last version didn't & Catwoman could not even reach the handlebars controls (and it wasn't close). That type of QC issue shouldn't occur for HT prices imo. HT should show prototype display pics of Batman on the Batpod to assure customers he actually fits this time & should also commit to a re-release for Catwoman with updated proportions allowing her to fit comfortably as well this time around. The Batpod scenes in the TDKR were some of the best parts of the flick including those w/Catwoman @ the controls imo.

I know it may never happen, but i wish Hot toy's would give us a Michael Keaton Batman batwing to go with the Batmobile they gave us. Please Hot toys!🙏

I really hope they do a Dark knight Rises armory, would go well with my Dark Knight Armory and looks really cool with the clear doors/etc

I immediately pre-ordered this through Sideshow once it went up. Don't currently own a 1/6 Scale Batman, so I will be eagerly waiting for this one to become my Holy grail. I already have the 1/6 Scale Bane with the Phicen M35 body and am getting the Hot Toys Two Face as well. I will however wait on Catwoman, just incase they do reissue a newer figure. As always Justin, another FANTASTIC video!!!

They nailed the head sculpt/ cowl sculpt and likeness on this guy! Yeah, this is probably the best Bale Batman from HT
