My 3+ month review of the Asus Zenfone 10! Do you think it's still the best small phone or is there better options?

I think the selfie camera in the corner looks so much nicer than in the center, and the non-uniform bezel are not an issue whatsoever.

Please stop criticising side finger print scanners, id rather have to press it twice every time i used it than poke the front of the screen which is just annoying and leaves a big finger print in the middle of my screen.

Improvements needed: Better night mode, slimmed down cameras, smaller bezels, faster charging and most importantly, WAY better software support. The S23 and pixel 8 which are the closest competitors in form factor, are both offer at least 2 years MORE software and security updates.

Zenfone 10 is probably the best Android phone ive had. Originally started with the galaxy s6 (that thing was abysmally bad. Like really really bad), eventually got a Sony Xperia (that was okay, but was not a fan of its length) and now Im currently using the Zenfone 10 (i love it very much! Ive had no issues with the OS or hardware in general. Only gripe I have is that not many phone case manufacturers make cases for it. I got one from Rinoshield though)

Thanks for the amazing review! I personally like the Google pixel 8 more because of the camera's picture quality. Though the battery life, headphone jack, size and OS of the Z10 is tempting.

I'm pretty satisfied with the Zenfone 9. My Zenfone 8 died a week after I recovered it from the common RAM dump problem. Comparing 9 and 10, they looked very similar, but Asus was out of stock on the green higher RAM version, and online retailers were price gouging at $1k, and the soonest to get one was around 2 weeks. The Zenfone 9 was about $100 cheaper and arrived the next day.

A big downside for me is the lack of support for Verizon network with the unlocked model. Android manufacturer still don't learn that you need to support all the network to ease people into buying your products.

Using the Zenfone 9 for more than a year now and for a content creator it's a total workhorse. I mean it's in my hands 6 to 14 hours a day and it hasn't let me down since.
Keeping my Zenfone 9 and buying a Zenfone 10 for my mom for Christmas. She must experience this amazing phone.

Hope Asus will keep rocking it and countiniue with the series. I would have gotten this phone if it kept the PWM levels and AF in the front/wideangle cameras from the 9. Also - it's kinda crappy from ASUS that in the press material they show the chin as slimmer vs the 9 which is obviously a lie. Hope to sell my current xperia in a year and get a Asus 11 in return. The design and formfactor with the heaphone jack are a winners for me.

Hopefully the next zenfone addresses complaints about the current models, I would be happy to get it when it comes out. I don't get why all phones must be so big nowadays
