STORYLINE:
The popular Japanese cartoon character Doraemon was created using drones over Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour on Saturday night.

It's the second time the drone show has taken place in recent months featuring the blue cat.

Crowds gathered to watch as police closed some roads in the popular shopping and dining district of Tsim Sha Tsui.

Rain came and went before the show started around 7.30pm local time (1130 GMT) but the sky was clear for the performance.

Hong Kong has hosted a series of Doraemon-themed events over the past few months.

The cartoon character has been a fixture in popular culture for generations of Hongkongers.
