Nutshell:

1) Observe trends. Developing countries can see short term trends: food, shelter, housing. Start small.
2) Play the same game as everyone else but harder/smarter. Work hard, earn, invest long term, enjoy.
3) Uniquely serve your own people. Niches which rest of the world ignores.
4) Bring over a trend which is big in developed countries but has not caught on. Easiest to start are services.
5) Replicate your own market. Replicate already fast growing businesses in your market.
6) Leverage your currency. Offer services (preferably digital) to economies where it would cost more to hire locally.

In my country Hungary via corruption and strong relationship to the goverment. Most important: to be loyal for the prime minister. It looks like a developed country but it developing backwards. The healthcare is officially "free" but you have to pay 4 the doctors, but you get nothing for that money because the hospitals doesn't work.

best thing you can do if you're in a developed country; do not go to college, ppl go to college to get a job that they think will make them rich, but it's a very bad idea if you plan on staying in your country, because wages will be low and it will just not be worth it. Instead take that time invest it into improving your skills and making a startup company, that way you dont need to shove a college degree to a company's face stating that you can count numbers and solve mildly difficult ecuations just so you will get paid a 0.0001% of the company's revenue.

1. Research on other developing countries to figure a gap on your country that you can fulfill.
2. Penetrate local market by introducing new trends / desires / service needs.
3. Sell / Export products or services to foreign countries that have higher currency value.

I am from a developing country and am classified as a HNWI by developed country standards. My advice is to look for those developing countries with solid institutions (tax collections, judiciary, etc.) and developed markets e.g. stock exchanges, capital and financial markets, etc. If you find developing countries with these attributes, you’ve essentially found a “developed country” classified as a developing country only as a result of the per capital income of that country. The asset allocation would then be the same as for developed countries but with the higher yields you often get in developing countries...the risk is minimized by the “solid institutions”, etc. I was referring to earlier. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

Alux, This is the best advices i've heard in years ! Graduated from Business School in Canada, i've returned in Cameroon in the early 1990, but struggled to achieve what i've done so far. Great content. Thanks a lot !

Problem starts with funds. Low currency means low income in a developing country which is densely populated. Can you please get some more information? And also in developing countries people look forward to saving money only, hence the extra entertainment or services are not used much, making them vulnerable to bankruptcy. More videos on these topics will be highly appreciated! Keep the good work up!

Funny info: in Romania, after the fall of comunist dictatorship, some citizens started going to Turkey and returned with jeans, which were very popular, but hard to get before the dictator's death. Some people got very rich. Roman Abramovici, Russian billionaire and Chelsea Football Club owner, also started like that. Of course, you had to bribe the border guards.
