if you would have told me after that georgia tech game that this team would break the 5 year final four barrier and compete for the national championship i would have told you you were crazy. no matter what happens it’s been so fun watching this amazing team navigate this insane year. this team is so special and will be remembered along w all the great uconn teams

OK, Nicki Muehl & Evina Westbrook are not scoring, but they are doing everything else: stealing balls, getting rebounds, blocking shots, giving good assist passes, and playing solid defense. Niki is for real as "Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year", and Evina brings experience, expertise, and a confident calming influence. Niki was born to pick pockets, & Evina's jumper will fall. Watch as that all happens. Sure Paige played great, but how about the free throw parade at the end of the game? Nerves of steel! What a display of poise!

Thanks MjL243! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 If you folks haven’t seen the post interview with Geno on the Storrs Central channel I highly recommend it. He talks about those fluke unforced errors towards the end which are just mind boggling. How we overcome them abs still win is incredible! I think ALL UCONN fans were yelling at their screens then! I love these girls but “THEY DON’T MAKE EASY ON THEMSELVES!”! Hahaha (or us fans!🤣🤣🤣🤣) Go Huskies!

The length and good defensive play of S made it difficult for UConn to get any open looks or to have any regular pattern which would work. Their lack of 3pt shooting gave UConn opportunities to keep up or to be ahead. The small spurt to go up 8 was amazing because you couldn't really see any pattern to it. It was just pure will-power. The players are strained nearly to their breaking point. There was tremendous frustration with the refs too. As with the UCF game, it was a good preparation for the next game. Aaliyah continues to do well. By now it should be obvious they just need to hit shots and all will be good. Sleep, eat, stretch, shoot the lights out.
