How about you test the limits of the motor on 6s 7". These current results show me that this is a cruiser motor for 6". But what is it really made of!? Find out and

Very nice to see a long range class motor tested on the channel! Please show us more long range low kv motors test results like Avenger 1850kv, iFlight 2207 1660kv and F80 1900kv tested with dal C6040x3, HQ7040x2 and gemfan 7024x2! Many thanks!!!
marcusdutra
thanks for your valued review, I'm looking forward to testing the DAL props once they arrive they look well suited for this motor.

We need a test of higher kv! Great work as always sir.

Размер подшипника подскажите ? The bearing size tell me?
AlexanderBessalov
Well said sir I cant argue with good logic I just hate seeing anything that shows such great motors putting out such low thrust. The general public will focus more on that than your positive review in my opinion and I am very passionate about these motors

Groovy! That's a big motor! :O How 'bout the other end of the spectrum with the ZMX FinX23, pls? ;) :)
gitech
Maybe it was just my preconceived expectations but I was thinking this motor was gonna create a lot more thrust ???
It appears the amp draw is on the lower end though so maybe extending flight times ??
That's again for all your efforts!!
It is very much appreciated!!

Please test on 6s with à 6inch prop (kk6040 / hq6045 /dal 6045 tri ...)
Thx

I'm still trying to decide whether to go for these, or the Garila 2508 1450kv (moscow) motors for the twin motor speed plane I'm building. It will be running 5s and/or 6s batteries and 7x5 props, apsc or graupner cam speed. Thanks for the useful data point for my research.
BTW, what sort of continuous power limit would you suggest, having run these motors a bit? is 750 watts being a bit too hopeful?

Check out the new Gemfan Flash props. 6042 and 7042 bi's.

Be interesting to re-visit this motor with the HQ 7x3.5x3 V1S.

Hi I just uploaded a raw video from earlier today of the maiden flight of the 8inch build with the new updated garila 2508's, it flew much better than expected. more videos to follow once the rain clears up by the weekend here at my wife's hometown during the spring festival.

Yes my point was not to argue but to correct the test parameters. Throw out all 3s testing because these motors are designed for 6s being the peak performance voltage so test using 4s 5s and 6s. Also try using a 6048x3 any hq 6" tri blade and any Apc 6" and 7" prop with a pitch of 45 or more. I have hundreds of videos flying almost every kv made I would never argue the good info you just provided but am fully aware of the difference if you need a link I would be happy to show you amp draw osd videos that prove my higher kv do exactly as I state. My 1500kv I don't bother with osd because the amp draw is so low any 30a esc will handle any prop up to 8" on 4s or 5s and most 6s

these would be sweet for 6 and 7 inch tri's! :)

Hello I need to buy motors, can you please suggest a brand. I would like 2205 or 2206 size or another size if it's not gonna kill my batteries and it's fairly light sub 30g. I prefer durability, smoothness and efficiency. Not soo much on power. Could you please suggest a lower price and a higher price motor that fits that criteria. Thank you.

Gwx series is the old motor. And this company has been around a while just not common in the states.
ultra.ego.
Do you know where I can get the DAL J7040? This looks like a good motor for 7" props.
ganon
Looks like a low kv version of those Horus drones motors.
