Cobra Kai is an American martial arts comedy-drama television series and a sequel to the original The Karate Kid films by Robert Mark Kamen. The series was created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg, and is distributed by Sony Pictures Television. The series was released on YouTube Red / YouTube Premium for the first two seasons, before moving to Netflix starting with the third. The series stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence from the 1984 film The Karate Kid and its sequels, The Karate Kid Part II (1986) and The Karate Kid Part III (1989). Cobra Kai also stars Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio and Dallas Dupree Young, with Martin Kove and Thomas Ian Griffith also reprising their roles from the films. During the 2017-2018 school year, the first season follows a down-and-out Johnny Lawrence who now lives in a small apartment in Reseda, and works odd jobs. He eventually uses karate to defend his new teenage neighbor Miguel Diaz from a group of bullies, and finally agrees to train Miguel in karate (who had been pleading with him to do so). This decision also leads Johnny to resurrect Cobra Kai karate dojo as a chance to recapture his past; however, this act reawakens his rivalry with Daniel, who was a 2-time All Valley champion and is now the owner of a highly successful car dealership chain, is married to co-owner Amanda, and has two children: Samantha and Anthony. Daniel is finally living the wealthy lifestyle he envied as a kid when he lived in Reseda. However, after his friend and mentor Mr. Miyagi died, Daniel's struggle to meaningfully connect with his children has disrupted the balance in his life. Meanwhile, Daniel reopens the Miyagi-Do dojo with Robby and Sam as his students in response to Cobra Kai's success, sparking a massive rivalry between the two dojos. Johnny also briefly reunites with original Cobra Kai members, Tommy, Bobby, and Jimmy. After a brutal school brawl on the first day of school at the end of season two, Johnny is kicked out of the Cobra Kai dojo by Kreese, and agrees to partner with Daniel to bring down the dojo. The third season takes place during the fall of 2018, and showcases the return of characters such as Ali, Chozen and Kumiko. Next, the fourth season follows in the Winter of 2019, and revolves around their to decision to finish off Kreese once and for all by preparing for the next All-Valley Karate Tournament. However, things are complicated when Kreese brings in Terry Silver, his old partner and friend from The Karate Kid Part III (1989), who proves to be a more dangerous and insidious enemy than Kreese himself. The fifth season continues in 2019, and showcases Daniel and Johnny's efforts to bring down Cobra Kai, which is now run by Silver following a cheated victory at the 2019 All-Valley Karate Tournament and Kreese being arrested after Silver frames him for attempted murder. Daniel also brings in his former rivals Chozen and Mike Barnes for help. Jessica Andrews also returns as Amanda's cousin.
Johnny Lawrence is one of the main antagonists-turned-protagonists of The Karate Kid trilogy and Cobra Kai television series. He was the troubled rich kid of the Valley who started a feud with new kid Daniel LaRusso that lasted over thirty-years. His vicious training with martial arts made him a formidable opponent, as he was the top student at the Cobra Kai dojo. Years later after his initial training, Daniel settled down in the valley where he met a woman named Amanda and later on they were married with the pair eventually welcoming two children Samantha and Anthony. As Daniel continued on with his life as a devoted husband and father, he and Amanda are the owners of an auto-dealership chain called LaRusso Auto Group. He also retired from karate and used martial arts as a gimmick to promote his business. When his high school rival Johnny Lawrence resurfaced and opened Cobra Kai Dojo, Daniel was inspired to teach Miyagi-Do Karate to a new generation of students. Their rivalry had higher stakes then before, and things escalated during a school brawl that involved Daniel's daughter, Johnny's star student and estranged son. The aftermath of the high school karate war found Johnny and Daniel as reluctant allies, and they were forced to join forces once again when John Kreese challenged their respective dojos in the All Valley Karate Tournament.

Honestly, I can see Johnny beating Terry Silver if they were on equal footing and wasn’t caught off guard.

Balanced daniel slams Johnny but I’m not sure about base daniel as he doesn’t have many feats but he should be above his nerfed version who, stated by terry put up more of a fight then drunk chozen who performed better feats than his base version as that version of chozen did slightly better against hyann woo so if we really take a good look at the power scaling and stuff, then it’s clear that daniel claps S5 base Johnny.

I don't think Daniel would win against peak S5 Silver as Silver would logically be better at quick silver than Daniel is and as soon as Daniel trys quick silver, Terry would recognice it and wouldn't give Danny a chance to use it as again he's the master of this technique.
In their fight Silver was mentally and physically beaten and just charged at Daniel without thinking

I think that they are always going to draw because the writers want that. But in a tournament I think Daniel wins 51/100 times while in a street fight, Johnny wins 51/100 times

Johnny didn't actually one shot Hyan Woo, he got back up afterwards where Mike Barnes has to save Johnny. It is implied that Terry could beat the sensei's all at once which Johnny could not. (Johnny did NOT win that fight Mike had to save his ass). Meanwhile Daniel beat Silver who was completely fine. Any lost Stamina could've been regained on the way to the dojo also Daniel just ran miles before hand, so yeah Daniel wins this.

I wouldn't say johnny is better than chozen, remember chozen beat like 6 sensi's earlier and he was extremely drunk when he faced silver. And beat silver until he got distracted.

No need for Daniel and Danny to be fighting the past is the past you notice they teamed up and plus he have a baby on the way so he needs to focus on that and not trying to fight Daniel.

S5 Johnny would batter silver and would definitely best Daniel too

Silver was literally in a fucking brawl with chosen and almost lost … Daniel is just a tad drunk.. I don’t think Daniel is over silver but Johnny is for sure close to silver and over Danny (WHEN HES ENRAGED)

Daniel slams Johnny, Pre Pressure Points Chozen performs better feats than the likes of Dad Amp Johnny as, Chozen pretty much folds Hyan-woo and Odell much easier than Johnny did and at the very least if u dont believe that they are relative
this same Pre Pressure Points Chozen is the same one stated by Terry to be weaker than Rage Amp Daniel and it make sense considering Daniel can land multiple hits on Terry and somewhat damage him

saying Johnny > Chozen therefor Chozen slams isnt even valid cuz Johnny isnt above Chozen. Johnny fails to beat up the fist twice and no im not saying hes below them individually, yes he slams them all in a 1v1 but when they all jump him at the same time he would get folded as shown and Terry was stated by Hyan-woo to be IMPOSSIBLE to beat and this goes toe very one of the fist as their all relative and Daniel slams Terry WHO WASNT INJURED he barely even got hit and recieve serious damage
