Hey Matt another fun video. If the K70 is to loud for your taste (which is actually the sound of the keycap bottoming out, not the switch itself) you can install some dampening O-rings on the keys. They're pretty cheap and make a ton of difference. Made my K70-R much more enjoyable.

I'd say gut it and put a hackintosh in there... Like swap out the screen for a tinted glass window abs Stuff... however much time, effort, and money you want to put into it, but I think that would be pretty cool. Maybe swap out the CRT for an LCD and remake it as an aio

I would recommend not gutting it since the CRT screen carries a large amount of voltage even when unplugged so it is very dangerous.

PS: Matt, it doesn't bother you that your side monitors hang half an inch lower than middle? And as you know by now I am not trying to pick on the negatives, I ONLY ask because I bought one on Amazon under $200 (they all do it. seriously, each one I looked at had it in comments) and it does the same thing! I ended up re-doing the whole thing, and thanks to my handywork I actually modified the trip mount to hold them perfectly! DM if interested.. But you'll need tools & a garage. This is steel. :D

I have that mousepad, it's great for a week. Then the fabric starts to separate from the rubber where your wrist always sits and you find out your "quality" coarse hair product costs as much to ship back for an RMA as a new mousepad. Don't even get me started on my K70.

How the hell do you stand using a mouse without a double click button? I've been using a Zelotes with a double click button, and every time I use a mouse without one I get so frustrated lol

You have the G3 and G5 I have a G4 with the stand and i love the design of it but its to outdated to do anything on. ;(
