In this video, we were talking about a very important topic in regards to backpay for snap benefits otherwise known as food stamps or also referred to as EBT for the low income. As a result of a piece of legislation that was passed in late 2022, beneficiaries can now get backpay in the event their benefits are wrongly taken from them. We discuss the details and what this means for snap beneficiaries here in this video as this is actually pretty exciting and protects snap beneficiaries, food stamp beneficiaries, and those individuals who have EBT because it is important to keep those benefits especially if they are wrongly taken from your card. We are discussing all the details and what you need to know to get your benefits reinstated it's this happens to you and also backpay. This piece of legislation was passed and it is effective as of October 1, 2022 and goes through September 30, 2024.
