I live in Antwerp for 20 years now and wtf is Hidrodoe? What I would recommend is go to places where you can find culture and architecture like buildings at Meir, go to Chocolate Nation museum, The Chocolate Line store for strange chocolate flavors, go to Antwerp Cathedral, ...

i'm from antwerp myself and really none of this places is a top thing to do, maybe the station and the zoo but apart that none of those are must see things in antwerp. you should try the Kloosterstraat, the sint Anna tunnel, the vlaaikensgang and so on wich are much more worth your time than those other places

The Cathedral, shopping in De Meir, De Handelsbeurs, het Koninklijk museum voor schone kunsten or KMSK, the port of Antwerp which is Europe second biggest port of Europe (daily visits by boat). Antwerp is famous for his restaurant out of the center. Antwerp is safe except for Borgerhout (way out of the center) at night
Not to miss is the city hall. If you come to Begium go to Antwerp, Gent & Bruges, if you have time left then go to Brussels;
Trust me I live in Brussels for more than half a decade

Why nothing about the Cathedral of Our Lady with 2 great triptyches of Rubens, amongst other fantastic art works, the Snyders-Rockoxhuis, former house of Nicolas Rockox, friend of Rubens? The KMSKA, the museum of fine art that reopened after more than 11 years of refurbishment. With also the greatest collection of paintings from Ensor in the world. And last, but not least. The Plantin - Moretus house, showing more than three and a half centuries history of book printing. The only museum in the world that is UNESCO World Heritage, as a museum.
