The next-generation 4Runner, which will be built on the same TNGA-F architecture as the Taco, is probably not going to include a third row and will remain roughly the same size. Rather, it will take a more direct aim at off-road vehicles like as the Ford Bronco and the four-door Jeep Wrangler, resembling a contemporary FJ Cruiser. With the Land Cruiser based on the global Toyota Prado—another vehicle that will soon be redesigned to meet TNGA-F standards—this would leave just the proper amount of space. It would resemble the Lexus GX of 2024 quite a bit. Like the stadium-style seats of the Prado, which are arranged with each row of seats marginally higher than the one before it, selecting a seat in the third row is practically a guarantee.
