President Moon to hold summit with Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev

President Moon is holding a summit at the Blue House with his Uzbek counterpart, Shavkat Mirziyoyev... as we speak.
The Uzbek leader is in Seoul for a three-day visit.
The leaders are expected to discuss ways to boost future-oriented cooperation in trade, supply chains and healthcare.
The two countries are seeking a bilateral trade deal which would help Seoul further advance into the biggest market in central Asia... and serve as a stepping stone to expand into other countries in the region.
Uzbekistan is a key partner in South Korea's so-called New Northern Policy and is rich in natural minerals, such as copper and tungsten.
The Uzbek leader's trip reciprocates Moon's state visit to Uzbekistan in 2019... and comes as the two countries mark 30 years of diplomatic ties next year.
This will be Moon's fourth summit with the Uzbek leader during his term.
