Jay's Mock Test During Peak School Traffic...

Today's mock test is with an experienced driver Jay. He has got a provisional licence and has been set up to do a mock test by his wife (Pallavi) He has driven in the UK on his international licence but that has now experienced and he wanted to see how he gets on with a mock test.

How will an experienced driver get on during the morning rush hour traffic? 8AM!

Hello Aman, I had my first lesson yesterday, and my instructor asked about the time I’ve booked for my driving test, which is at 11:01. He suggested that I switch to an 8:00 AM slot, explaining that due to heavier morning traffic, the examiner would likely take me through fewer areas, making it easier to familiarize myself with the routes. Is this true?

Sorry for the random question but, are you allowed to stop on a bus stop and on yellow zigzag lines to give way to oncoming traffic or if there are road works and a red traffic light?

Ok, there's room for improvement in jay's driving. His overall observations are ok, but not great, in my opinion. He definitely could do with a few more lessons to really understand where he approaches situations and deal with them probably and not be over-cautious, which did happen in a couple of areas into the drive, so he really needs to gain a little more confidence in future lessons.
