My purpose is to serve God and go where He leads me.
I had the wife and marriage (no kids). Then that went away. I felt so miserable because I felt I broke my promise to God. But He let me know it was okay. I gave everything over to God and He blessed me beyond anything I ever imagined. But now I realize the only thing that matters is serving and having a relationship with Him. He will take care of everything else. The hard part is fully committing your life to serving Him

Letting go of hurt, finding a purpose and having the hunger to go after it. It's easy to say it and type it. But it's hard to do it with so many distractions and that minds voice of doubt we all have is never far away

I miss my wife, she was the easily the best part of my life, she was forgiving, entertaining, i helped her and she helped me, we did things for each other, i suppose my best friend.She became ill and i help her for years until the end, she certainly was my purpose.

I'm a 60 yr old man and just have my sweet little dog....we live alone in Senior housing and I can tell you that when I wake up each morning and look at that prescious face starring back at me....THAT'S My Purpose!!! My purpose for getting up and having my coffee and feeding her and going out on our nice walks, and thanking God for her and giving me another day with her....ADOPT An Animal folks....They will help you find your purpose IF you don't have one!!!!

I can definitely relate to this. I’m 52, never married, no kids. Military retired. Did well for myself. I currently don’t have a purpose. Other than travel, hobbies, and exercise. Nothing really gets me up in the morning. Not creating, building, or caring for anything. I’m considering simply going back to work. Don’t need the money. But it would give a purpose again. Then donate my estate to veterans or scholarship funds after I die. 🤷‍♂️ or live in Asia, find a girl half my age 😉 and make babies.

I have many friends who are single in their 40's with no kids and the reason for that isn't because they prioritised their career instead of building a family.Simply because they haven't found the right partner to build a family and many of them desperate for finding true love. Many people are alone and they all have many different reasons why they ended up like that and hopefully they all find some purpose ❤
