VMware vSphere 7.0U1 'Server Error | Invalid Extension id' and inability to 'Send details to VMware'
Показать описание
1) VMware vSphere 7.0U1 Server Error (mystery error in non-vSAN cluster)
2) VMware Feedback Error (can't attached screenshots)
On Oct 8th, about 30 hours after upgrading from VCSA 7.0c to 7.0U1, I noticed an error in vSphere Client. When selecting my Hosts and Clusters view, my vSphere cluster is selected by default, and the following error comes up:
"vSphere Health detected new issues in your environment Learn more "
so I click on learn more, and a yellow bang warning shows at the bottom-right, clicking on the yellow bang reveals the following details of the error:
"(Red bang) Server Error
Invalid Extension id:
Hide errors for this session.
Send details to VMware"
so I clicked on Send details to VMware, and I'm unable to capture a screenshot, since it blocks the Send button. So I used the vSphere Client's smiley-face Feedback button at the top-right, and attached a PNG image of the issue instead, seen pictured here:
and discussed here:
I searched the web for any relevant discussions on this issue, and came up empty. If VMware support reaches out to me at my provided email address, I'll be happy to provide a diagnostics bundle or whatever else they need from this lab environment.
