I have tried casein after watching this video. I have been doing only transparent watercolor up to this point. Casein is intriguing, but I’m surprised that there are so few color selections. I bought the basic set and I’m still having trouble with greens...watercolor has so many choices and mixing casein paint to get the same range is giving me trouble. The casein colors are a little brighter than I’m used to in watercolor. I’ll get used to it...it’s better than going back to oils. The casein dries quickly and is opaque, so unlike watercolor, lights do go over dark. I’ve had to rearrange my thought process. Thanks for the introduction...love watching your videos.

A painting demo of this would be nice. Also maybe show a painting or swatch that's about a week old.

I think you could do a follow up video actually showing the paint.

How does it come—tubes, jars, cakes like watercolor? Visuals—I need visuals😀

Interesting never heard of it. Don't know what it looks tubes, pans, powders. Sounds like its properties are like guashe, but that its creamy ( like pastels ) to paint with, but is a form of watercolor, but once dry its more like acryllic & is waterproof. Apparently not real popular ?? Due price? Colors available? What? Well that was a nice teaser, but would like to see demo of use & pretty much I echo the same comments below. Thanks

I thought is was made with eggs for some reason. Maybe I'm thinking of another media. James Gurney works with casein sometimes.
*now I remember. I was thinking egg tempera media. I'm not familiar with either and got them confused.
