A suggestion for the app - it would be amazing if it also showed the ‘rule’ where applicable. The video you did about the rules was awesome, but one also needs to remember the rules! 😅 It would really help to internalise them if the app showed the rule as a reminder when you get the gender wrong. For example, when Jeremy incorrectly selects ‘die Geschäft’ it could remind you that words starting with ‘ge’ are always neutral, so that you don’t just strengthen your memory of this combination, but all ‘ge’ words 👍🏻

Some rules that help:
Words of foreign, non German origin and plural words are die. Words ending in tät, ung, in, tion, sion, schaft, ur, ei, enz, anz, heit, keit and ie are feminine.
Words ending in ant, ast, ich, ismus, ling, us, re masculine.
Words ending in chen, lein, um or of Latin origin are das.

als ich Detusch erlernt habe vor ungefähr 4 Jahren habe ich mir eine Methode erfunden und zwar, die Artikel mit Farben zu verbinden. Es hat richtig gut funktioniert!

Egal wie intensiv die Artikeln gelernt werden, ist es viel effektiver im Kontext zu lernen. Man muss z.B. wissen, warum der Satz "Der Mann gab seinem Sonn den Schlüssel des Hauses" so aufgebaut wird, aber auch in der Lage sein, das nach "Gehör" zu erkennen. Deswegen empfehle ich jedem Deutsch Lerner VIELE PODCASTS zu hören, so oft wie möglich, und klar viel Easy German :)

Ich finde die Deutschsprache mega gut, weil sie einfach eine sehr korrekte Sprache ist und wie es ausgesprochen wird, wird es auch genauso geschrieben. 👌👍
Übrigens der Artikel ist das Fundament der Deutschsprache und ohne Artikel kann man nicht ein gutes Hochhaus aufbauen🤪

Ich finde es ganz interessant, dass Mutterspracher unterschiedlicher Sprachen, die Regeln ihrer Sprache nicht wissen, weil sie die Sprachen einfach aus Natur beherrschen. Als Deutschlerner fragt man sich oefters "Warum das und nicht das?" und ein Muttersprachler sagt dir halt "Weil es so ist" :D

I constantly face to such situations of guessing the genders. The system is a bit complicated and it's hard to find special approach for easy taking.
In my mother language (russian) everything is simple:
Das goes if the word has "O" in the end
Die goes if the word has "A" in the end
Der goes if the word has consonant.

Certainly, there exceptions, but in basic it is as I described
