Kurt grew up in Aberdeen, Washington. After his death, the town wanted to put up "Welcome to Aberdeen" signs that said "Home of Kurt Cobain", but many people complained due to the way he died. They didn't want their town associated with that. So, instead, the the welcome signs now simply say "Welcome to Aberdeen. Come As You Are.", which I think is even better. If you know, you know.

Dave is a devastatingly hard hitting drummer. During rehearsals Kurt had to keep asking him to play softer and softer to the point Dave thought "Why am I even playing?" So the producer ran out and bought these special sticks that lighten the impact. Speaking of Come As You Are, watch "Soaked in Bleach."

Yes, of course he's hitting the drums. By the way, he's a great drummer. He's David Grohl, the founder, singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter of Foo Fighters🤘🏼🎶

Still my favorite Nirvana song. I got to see them live in 1993 at a different show. I’ll always feel lucky that I did.

MTV Unplugged was an iconic show. So many great artist came on and performed stripped down versions of their song in an intimate setting. Even some older artists like Johnny Cash and Tony Bennet did great shows. Eric Clapton's episode was released as a full album, and sold tens-of-millions of copies worldwide. Led Zepplin also did a show that was released as an album.

Fun fact, Dave said in an interview that during rehearsals for this concert Kurt kept telling Dave he needed to soften it up a little bit more. This happened a few times until he felt he was barely touching them but it was still super clear. Kurt is the reason the drums were so soft but clear. The jaw movement is 3 things, he did it to keep in time with the music, also lets not forget Kurt was heavy addict... i feel it was also a habit when concentrating.
You are correct in what you said, he was a mood, heh ad a very dry sense of humour and he knew sarcasm well. But he was a funny guy and he had good Morales, he stood up for the LGBTQ+ community before it was a mainstream thing

Lounge Act was always my favourite Nirvana song. They released a song 10 years after Kurt died and it's a belter. It's called
You Know You're Right 👌

Kirk was addicted to speedballing that's what his jaw was moving the way it was.he tried so many times to kick it but you know what he did to himself. There's a lot material to react to.from all Biss Nation you rock!!😮🎉❤❤

His guitar from that legendary MTV concert was auctioned two years ago for 6 million dollar! It's the world record for a guitar!

If you didn't know yet..

Thank you for a wonderful reaction to one of my favourite songs of one of my favourite bands. When nevermind was released I couldn't listen to anything else for weeks! That album changed my taste in music completely. When MTV started these unplugged sessions I first tought: blegh ... but when I watched Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Eric Clapton and a few others I was sold. Seeing this and listening to these great songs brings back so many memories ... sigh ... so sad Kurt couldn't deal with life. rest in peace ~ Vals

dave grohl hits drums hella hard, and you can see he's really having to concentrate to soften up his playing. by far one of nirvana's best performances, and among their last

I do the same thing Kurt does when I play guitar, I move my jaw left and right it just happens in the moment and is a form of feeling what your playing and a way of concentration, it just happens, bust from the video it looks like he's doing it to keep the beat

I feel his lyric "& I don't have a gun" was a premonition of his death, & that he did NOT kill himself with a gun -- There's documentary & Hollywood movies about the circumstance of his death WHAT a hole that is to go DOWN

They also did a very good cover of David Bowie's 'The man who sold the world.' in this concert.

As a 43 year old VERY HARDCORE Nirvana fan and Kurt lover I can tell you for a fact the real reason for his jaw moving is because of the amphetamines he was taking to liven him up from his heroine use. I would never say anything bad about Kurt but it's the actual factual truth! Watch his other concerts, sometimes he was on them and sometimes not.

There is no bad song on this album so you can pick any of them to react to. My favorites are "All Apologies, " "Pennyroyal Tea" (which is just Kurt), "Lake of Fire, " and "Something In The Way"

i may have imagined this but i think dave said that in rehearsals for where did you sleep last night kurt was telling him over and over to go quieter and quieter and it took him a while to work out how to go as quiet as he wanted.

I just love this mtv unplugged version of come as you are, it's so good, I closed my eyes during Kurt's guitar solo, as I smiled and bopped along, I got goosebumps, never got that during a guitar solo before
