It's so funny how people fight over TVs. Imagine if people argued over refrigerators and dish washers, like that lol. No way my Samsung fridge gets cold faster than that crappy LG, my Maytag gets dishes way cleaner than your Bosch, yours is trash. I guess people need to be assured they purchased the right thing. If YOU like your TV, than who cares? All these TVs, are awesome today and if you didn't have them next to each other, you wouldn't know or care about any differences. You aren't going to enjoy a movie more watching on the QD Oled, over the Mini led. Just get the biggest size you can and enjoy.

KG you do not have to explain yourself. The difference between a QD-OLED while not vast, it is striking. I could eyeball it just from the very beginning of this video in my VA panel. Nice video ! Your old videos helped me decide for a qdoled over a miniled and I thank you for that.

Wow, thanks KG! With this short and sweet video you've managed to convince me to try the S95E next year. The main reasons I bought the QN900D was for the premium quality, size, durability and brightness.. But I think you're right, for my primary activity with these devices being gaming, I should go with the QD-OLED. I heard that Samsung's next year's model might be 83" - or 85"? If that's true I'll definitely make the switch. Gaming is all about lighting, motion and contrast. I mean in in these videos there even appears to be more detail, picture and colour spectrum visible in the QD-OLED. Ah well, live and learn.

KG, doesn't listen to those buffoons. I've only watched a few of your videos mainly to do with the B9 (which I own), and you were clearly just giving your honest, subjective opinion of it, which is all anyone can ask for.

Got an s90c and did a service menu mod to bring the peak brightness in hdr to around 2000 nits max in a small window, but the most amazing thing it how much it brought up full window brightness, the tv is like an ips LCD full screen in terms of brightness and has much better color vibrancy. Even in SDR the fullscreen brightness is insanely high and watching anime without the screen dimming at all is an experience to behold with these vibrant colors and perfect contrast. Bought it for only 940, insanely good deal and the best tv I could imagine honestly, only thing I could hope for a future tv is the re-introducing of good 3d with this amazing brightness, possibly glasses free like on some tablets, other than that it's just perfection.

I really think the oleds have a much better picture /contrast but it would really annoy me everyday to think about a possible burn-in. Especially while gaming (huds).

So, if you are just going to use tv for movies, tv shows, news from streaming apps. So the 77 S90D would be better than the 85in QN90D in light controlled evnement from 10.5-11 feet away. I use the tv about 4-5 hours a day. How much light bleed/blooming does the QN90D have compared to the S90D Oled tv. Is it like 90% of oled black.

Hey Tech with KG! Not sure if im remebering this right but im hearing some S90D's are 1000 nits and not 1200 nits that was reviewed by rtings? Are the 1000 nits woled and outside lf the US? I plan to buy a 65 in the states, i know its a guaranteed qd-oled but is there a chance it could be 1000 nits and not 1200 nits or is that just a woled thing?

Not only does the oled have a cleaner picture, it also comes with the added benefit of less overall lag and latency compared to led. The choice is a no brainer if your primary use is going to be gaming. Especially online competitive gaming.

Is the backlight better outside of game mode? Only reason I'm considering Mini-Led is price at 75" which the Qm851 should hit $1300ish on BF.

Also, do newer Oleds no longer dim overtime if playing with static HUD content?

As someone who is interested in the S90D and the QN90D I’m Just wondering, what settings did you have for the QN900d Local dimming? Was it high or low? I’d much appreciate it. Great video btw.

I just ordered the Hisense 55-inch U8N. I have a much older 7 year old sony, so any upgrade is going to be vastly superior to the old tech I currently have. That being said, I primarily bought a new TV for games on my PS5, im really wondering if I should shell out a bit extra for the LG C3 series model. My tv arrives today, and this video showcases the different image quality, and even recording it on a camera shows a vast difference, I can only imagine how much more crisp the OLED looks in person. What do you think? Should I just return the Mini Led and order the LG C3? It's about $400 bucks more, I intend on keeping this TV for years to come, and I dont mind spending a bit extra for a vastly superior gaming experience.

qd oleds dim when there is blue on the screen, qleds dont have much agressive dimming as qd oled. also s95d also gives blooming because of the matte screen.

the first second, i noticed how pale the bigger screen is and yep, its the Mini Led.
Should've been a triple comparison with a WOLED there as well.
