My reviews of these trailers.

Twisters—How can a sequel made almost 30 years after the original have special effects that look even worse? Also, the actors appear to be sentient sound bites talking to each other.

Megalopolis—Visually impressive with a grandiose story that will inevitably fail to deliver on its ambitious premise. Flat characters, hollow set pieces, and incoherent plot will prove that slapping a famous name on a product doesn't ensure quality (again).

Venom 3—Yet another high-stakes, winner-take-all, cataclysmic, apocalyptic, world-ending event that will be forgotten by everyone in a few months.

A Quiet Place Day One—Yes, everyone knows by now that if you make noise, the aliens get you. It's not surprising or scary anymore, so stop trying to sell it.

Wicked—The subversion of expectations we never knew we didn't want or need.

Deadpool 3—Deadpool breaks the fourth wall....again. The next Deadpool is going to just be him wandering around your movie theater stabbing random people and laughing.

Harold and the Purple Crayon—When your main character is a cross between Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler, is it really a movie that's child-appropriate?

Beetlejuice 2—Dead people do age, apparently.

Beverly Hills Cop 4—Eddie Murphy keeps coming back for more punishment, but this time it's not at the box office.

Despicable Me 4—Three completely different movies in one!

Moana 2—The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker meets Avatar: The Way of Water. Hilarity ensues.
