I think the burning question in my mind is, what the hell is outside the window? Junior is freaking out. I absolutley adore him. You chose well.

From someone old enough to be your granny a couple of times over George, you are an amazing man. I had a boyfriend when we were both 28 and I was his FIRST girlfriend. He was amazing in all ways and my impression of you is that you’re very much like him. You’re smart to not be rushing into anything meanwhile achieving all kinds of good things. Thanks for sharing so much of your private life and btw I, as many of your comments indicate, also find your voice, accent and mannerisms exceedingly relaxing.

I think the autism question came up because you have the vibe of a quiet, kind person who had a dedicated interest that seemed to involve being alone for long periods. I am on the spectrum and know lots of other people who are from grad school (which is an Asperger’s magnet). They are generally (but not exclusively) introverted, kind, and have strong interests that they often do alone. It can feel lonely to be on the spectrum so when we see a public figure we like, who has some of those characteristics, we wonder if they are “like us.” If so, it can be a self esteem boost to know that someone whose work we enjoy is in the same complicated, sometimes lonely boat. But it’s also fine that you aren’t, I like your channel just as much of course :) It’s just nice to see others out in the wild sometimes :)

I am going to show your channel to my 13 year old grandson, who was so badly bullied at school that he is now homeschooled...kind of. He loves designing houses, interiors in particular so he may enjoy your tiny house renovations. He is also a cat lover, but his only friends are online, so he is lonely.I believe hearing your story may help him, he is clever and caring and deserves a life he enjoys, like yours.

You're a good man George Dunnett...and wise beyond your years. Appreciate your calm demeanor, especially compared to all the YouTubers who scream loudly for attention. Well played.

You might consider rescuing a kitten or cat from a shelter. They have every style cat you can imagine. If you did rescue one, you’d be saving one from certain death. And.rescue animals are incredibly grateful the rest of their lives. They just seem to know what you’ve done for them.😊

Damn this was actually really interesting and more entertaining than I thought it would be. I loved watching junior climb on your window in the background too lol

You should totally be proud of your degree! Doing it on your own takes a lot of self motivation!

You're a far more interesting person than most big YouTubers. I hope you continue to create content like this.

Shouldn't ever be embarrassed about studying at the Open University - find it's more highly regarded than you may think. Takes a lot of effort to motivate yourself to study outside more traditional avenues, and lots of employers should and do respect that. Cool channel, found it through the tiny house and enjoy your videos.

Nothing wrong with an OU degree My Friend. Shows a level of commitment way beyond most, also some of the best people I've worked with have OU degrees.

Hi, George. Wow, I didn't expect you to pay any attention to my question. Thank you so much for taking time and showing respect for complete strangers. That's impressive.
My conjecture was because you have a quaint/quirky and at the same time endearing way of expressing yourself, because you never try to make an impression or win your viewers over, which is such a breath of fresh air, because your every video is pure quality and precision. You don't ramble on, your video is just perfect and on point, never too long or too short and so aesthetically pleasing. I honestly thought that you were a very talented tech guy with artistic flair to boot. And then you mentioned you had anxiety. And then you did really well baking (not forgetting your house renovation project). And you seem really comfortable alone.
That's my train of thoughts. Not sure if it makes any sense to you. I certainly need to learn from you to express myself with less words. All the best of luck on your journey.

George, have no regrets. There is a time and place for everything and everyone. If for some reason something is drowning you, it's smart to drop it and move forward. Start (or restart) as many times as necessary. You are smart, honest, polite with a sweet sense of humour. You should be proud of yourself and your accomplishments. I wish you the best!

I have certainly never have thought of the Open University degree as 'less than'. They are well thought of particularly for people who are working and need to study alongside their work. The interesting is that now a lot of the content of full time university courses are online too.

I love the way Junior chooses her own way of participating in your video🥰 Thank you for answering the questions.

Really surprised to find someone with such a similar school experience. Emetaphobia and panic made me leave my secondary school classes at least 2 or 3 times a day, and then things continued in the same pattern throughout studying Psychology at Uni. Honestly, developing the skills and motivation to teach yourself how to do things independently, without authority figures telling you what to do is a great trait to have and something I feel you gained from everything you have been through. You've done really well for yourself since then and you did it all on your own! Wishing you the best, my fellow anxiety warrior!
