Hey Robbie I’ve been watching you for years. I am a big fellow too. I’m saying this out of concern because I want to see you long term do well. Many of us our in our 30’s as well, it’s time to focus on health too bro. I say that with respect and concern for your wellbeing. S:P actually might not be a bad thing to buy right now as it will not be a cheap reprint. If the tins have 400 cards and around 100 Secrets and you only pull 3 secrets a tin (36 secrets a case) you will need 3 cases to give you the odds of 1 S:P. And this is coming from someone who does not believe S:P will be short printed based on what Konami did the last 2 years in the tins (The short prints were not the chase cards). And this year they don't need to short print any secret rares because essentially every secret will be short printed in these tins. these tins will be a big disappointment and it's all because of the 400 cards, I don't blame anyone for buying these cards right now

Anytime I hear or see a kid screaming their head off at a public place I immediately think that is how the part of the Yugioh community that always whines and complains about products like the tins.

Opinion: Yes these cards are announced for the tin. Diabelle, S:P, etc. But you still have to Buy the tins ($20) Then hope you get the card you’re looking for. Considering it is going to be a 400 card set including 50 Qcr’s. It isn’t necessarily going to be easy getting the cards you want. By the time you buy tins (say 4) You’ll be in $100 which is about the price of S:P at the moment. You’ll still get great cards regardless but if your searching for one specific card then you may as well just get it out right if you’re not to keen on having decent luck with these things. So I think the prices of these cards don’t really matter. They are still expensive AF for cardboard though..

I'm starting to think it's one of three reasons.
Collectors wanting the original prints, which is a thing.
People not understanding how economics work, buying something, thinking that it'll stay or even increase in price when more of it drops in the market (literally, that's not how economics works).
People not paying attention to YGO news in general. The tins are a literal reprint set. Things released in the past year are more than likely going to show up in the tins. Some imports, maybe some actual new stuff, but the tins literally are *the* reprint set in the TCG. Atm, the only other such sets are the Deckbuilding sets (mostly for staples) and the rarity collections (again, mostly for staples).

While I agree for the most part, what is all this $90 stuff, I know you like to exaggerate Robbie, but outside of a few anomalies, they've been selling for 65-75$ since banlist hit.... Which with the 70-80 prismatic secrets in the set, the possibility it may also be short print, S:P probably settles in mid 40's-50s... So ultimately really a non issue, spending an extra 10-15 dollars to have the original print, have it now for locals/events... yeah relax with the drama my guy

You wanna know the reason? Because as bad as we think konami is, the player base or atleast the "competitve" player base are far worse, and in my opinion THE worst part of yugioh

I'm sorry but what is the point of this video? Is this another 10:11 video of you just ranting just because? YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY Robbie. Why is it that you use the same talking points over and over again, just to make another L10-minute ranting video adding nothing more to the discussion. Yes we know the community will complain about this terrible format (rightfully so)Like you have said in your other 15 megatin rant videos it is a 400 card set. You have already established that you know that expecting to pull the SP is going to be low. Now why are you making another video perplexed that the yugioh community is spending money on these chase cards that we have already established are probably going to be chase cards?

As a long time fan, I think you genuinely need to take a step back and reevaluate the quality of your content. I am someone who watches also every video you put up, and its getting to the point where your videos are saying almost the same thing. Your format is to make a 10 minute and some odd change video and for almost all of them you take the same topic and stretch it over 6 videos in the same week. At this point you are just blatantly being lazy. I am sad to see that your content is becoming so recycled at this point. Do I understand you gotta make a quota? Yes, absolutely, but there are so many other content creators that are able to do that, and actually put effort into their channel, and as a result we see them have so much more view's and subscribers. I am getting frustrated because I have watched your content since I was a teen, being in my 30's now, I am just seeing the decline of your content. I will read other peoples comments too giving constructive feedback, and then when you do address it (which is very very rarely) you try to minimize it as "oh just a bunch of trolls in my comment section". Please do better.

Konami isn't getting money from the secondary market, plus SP reprinted in a 400 card set? I'd rather spend 90 to guarantee I get the card then buying a case and pulling jack

You do realize that the SP “reprint” is in a set size of fucking 400, right?!
Unless this “reprint” is easy to get, which isn’t likely, this “reprint” wont cool off prices.
It will be just as hard to pull an SP from the tins as it is from the base set, if not harder.
So why is a $90 SP so bothersome to you?

It seems like people are hedging their bets with S:P. Unlike past tins, it’s starting to look like this reprint will be similar to a side set reprint, like baronne in MAZE, thrust in MZMI, etc. if that’s the case, the standard price for cards like that becomes +/- $50. If that’s the lowest for the foreseeable future it makes more sense why people don’t mind paying more for the card now.

The main reason is because it is short printed. Now paying the price rn is not the best move but it is not going to be cheap. It is not guarantee that you can get it within 2 cases. Maybe 3 if it is not short printed. If it is not shorted like the previous tins. If the card pull was 300 then people would not have a problem.

Because I can. I ain't rich, but I got a lot of money. I need it now for my deck, not later. And yes, I did pay $90 on S:P. Unless it's a grantee promo, or card like Duel Devastator in a tin. I probably will be paying more on tins than the card is worth if I don't pull it.

Well 1 the set is huge and the good cards are all high rarity. So the prices probably wont be that low.
And 2 a lot of people fold under literally 0 pressure because they have no self control or will power at all lol
