Everything in the video about whaling is factually incorrect. The video shows Japan and the Faroe Islands and nothing from Norway. We do not engage in that type of hunting or slaughter of any animal. Hunting for whales is very limited and it is done for research reasons and because the whale eats large parts of the fish that would normally have been caught. There is a limit to how many whales you can have in a limited area - The sea outside Norway is divided into regions and you know how much you can fish yourself - how much the rest of Europe can fish and we have a solution with Russia about sharing of resources. Then we must maintain the stock of fish so that millions of people do not starve.
