The crowd is amazingly loud! Congrats SpaceX!

This is the greatest step forward in orbital space travel since the founding of ISS!

Can we just save some time here:
1. No, they cannot fly a out to sea to get better live footage. They are miles further than three of those can fly and the other one is fictional. If the *rocket scientists* can't give you a better live view, there'a good chance your idea is not well thought out.
2. If you think the poor quality of the landing footage is evidence that it's fake, then you have a big problem ahead of you. The clear footage recorded from the drone ship and the Falcon itself will be posted in a day or so. It always is. Which would mean, if it was fake, then they could have just used *that* footage during the live stream. But they didn't. Why? Maybe because it makes perfect sense for a ship in the middle of the sea to not have great reception when a rocket ship lands on it. In which case, your evidece is not really evidence anymore, now is it?
3. Where do you think the rocket that public audiences saw take off went, if you don't think the landing is real? Fell in the ocean? The desert? Lost in space? You have another problem ahead of you. People have seen the barge return to dock. They've posted their YouTube videos when they've congregated along the route the flatbed takes when it returns the rocket home. You're saying people only notice it going, not coming? For that matter, how did they fake the ground landing. People were there.
4. If Musk is such a terrible speaker, how come people hang on his every word and pack houses just hear him speak? Maybe because the substance of what he says is more important that how he says it.
5. Stop with the government subsidies thing. For starters, that has nothing to do with SpaceX. For another, Tesla paid all those loans back years ago. And you can't make that criticism with a straight face and pretend like oil companies don't get billions more in subsidies to this day.
6. The Earth is round. Study physics. It explains everything.

Guess i better start saving for my new Martian home.

Anyone else replayed 29:29? 😂😂
I love you Elon ❤️

Woop! Kate Tice! My favourite presenter for sure. I remember the stuttering and umming she used to do mid-sentence on the streams, but what a hell of a difference now. Really enjoyable to watch and someone who's clearly knowledgeable, confident and makes the topic of space flight approachable for us non-rocket scientists.
Bravo!

I WAS THERE!!!! It was a amazing sight w/ nothing but clear skies!!

Nice, Nice, But can you use it a third time?

nothing short of breathtaking, beautiful. what a contrast to malicious other things that are going on. THIS is the stuff we should be working on together!

That landing was magic, we never saw it. Bravo!

History was made tonight. SpaceX launched a satellite using a previously used 1st stage and returned that 1st stage for a perfect landing on a drone ship. It is a big deal because the 1st stage is about 80% of the launch cost and is usually lost. Very exciting day for space exploration. Congrats SpaceX, Elon Musk, SES. Beautiful launch from the historic Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A and an amazing landing on the drone ship "I STILL LOVE YOU !". SpaceX keeps making history.

Молодцы!!! Люди придумали, сделали и добились успеха. Поздравляю! Well done !!! People have come up with, made and achieved success. Congratulations! I congratulate you from Russia!

You guys *GOTTA* do whatever it takes to show the landings as they happen.
_Very Important_
