why is it everytime i got a windows update my restore point lost?

i got windows 10 education on a virtual machine (for school) and the version is 10586, when i try to update it to 14393 then it restart twice wiht the message boot device not found and reverts on the 3th restart. can you not update windows education?

If I became an insider user will I get the normal user updates as well????
