Just an addition, ICT say's breakers can be multiple consecutive candles. So if you have the last down closed candle in a bearish scenario but that candle has 2 more next to it, you include them all.

THERE IS A BIG CONTRADICTION. On one example you used the period between the market structure break and last sweep of liquidity to determine the breaker block candle and then later you use the period between the sweep of liquidity and previous low. Which is it?

depending on the time frame/significance of liquidity, in order to confirm that it is broken past for continuation, you need to wait after price hits that level and see if price displaces through it creating a FVG. If it is higher time frame like 4h liquidity, ideally you will have an intermediate time frame like 15m show a FVG following the break of the level. If 15m liquidity, you will see 5m or 1m FVG formed past the level. If price reverses quickly and trades back above sell-side liquidity or below buy side liquidity a second time, then it was a sweep and you can expect price to "bounce" and continue back in the other direction.

Hi ...new to these...but how do you know if say there's market structure shift, there's a breaker blok , a FVG and an extreme oder block, all these in a HTF point of interest e.g 4hr, how do know if its only going to tap breaker block and reverse and not going to the extreme order block(supply or demand)?

Hi, if the highs of the session etc were taken, but the first fvg is bullish, do we still wait for the first bearish fvg to form or do we no longer look for a setup as the bearish fvg wasn't the first?
