SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City
April 9, 2025
Empowering Filipino culinary heritage and showcasing the strength and creativity of local enterprises, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos lead the opening of this year’s Bagong Pilipinas National Food Fair at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on April 9, 2025.
Organized by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Bureau of Market Development, Promotions and OTOP (DTI-BMDPO) in cooperation with DTI regional and provincial offices, the five (5)-day fair features over 250 outstanding food-based micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across the country. It aims to promote sustainability and the adoption of technology in food production, packaging and manufacturing while accelerating the digital transformation of Filipino MSMEs through tools for e-commerce, digital marketing, logistics and cashless payment solutions.
A major highlight of this year’s National Food Fair is the launch of DTI’s Bagong Pilipinas Marketplace — the country’s largest business-to-business e-commerce platform — which will connect local MSMEs directly with global institutional buyers, significantly expanding their market reach and presence.
More than just a marketplace, the fair is a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. It offers visitors a unique opportunity to sample traditional recipes, explore innovative products and enjoy culinary specialties from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
