Attorney Tom Grieve is a former state criminal prosecutor from Wisconsin before eventually founding what is now the state's largest criminal defense firm at more than 20 attorneys. In 2019 the firm expanded into family law and added a dedicated team of professionals to further serve clients with similar aggressive and proven strategies.

Beyond the courtroom, Tom has been interviewed and appeared in numerous media outlets, ranging from the New York Times, CourtTV, Fox News, Reuters, Washington Post, National Public Radio, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, among many others. He is a frequent Continuing Legal Education course speaker to teach lawyers and judges in developments and the law, both in Wisconsin and nationally. Finally, Tom has also presented across the country, both online and in person, concerning the law and culture to the public.

In addition to speaking engagements, Tom has also contributed to the national conversation in writing on emerging legal topics and has been published in Conceal Carry Magazine and elsewhere on multiple occasions. He also edited the book and contributed legal input on various other publications, including the "Wisconsin Guide for Armed Citizens" on behalf of the National Association of Certified Firearm Instructors.

Tom Grieve is recognized among the top Wisconsin and Milwaukee area lawyers. Recently named once again as a top Wisconsin criminal defense attorney, Tom was inducted into the “Wisconsin Rising Star” category by Super Lawyers (a nationally acclaimed attorney rating organization). He was also chosen as a "Top 100 Trial Lawyers" in Wisconsin by the National Trial Lawyers Association. Tom was also chosen for the "Top Attorneys of Wisconsin" by both Milwaukee Magazine and Madison Magazine.

As someone who has carried in California for over 20 years and a named plaintiff in the May v Bonta case, I can tell you that I absolutely will not be changing how I protect my children. Not happening, ever.

Can't buy gas in California if you exercise 2nd Amendment. Gas stations are private, requiring signage. Hard to see sign unless you drive into station, which is also illegal. Gas stations and their associated stores are amoung the most dangerous places for criminal activities.

Need to work on removing judges from the 9th and any other court that doesn't hold up the Constitution.

Our church has armed security. We feel that anyone coming in to harm us is not likely to follow the “no guns allowed” law. We will continue to protect ourselves here in California.

Thanks for this video. I live in California and want to be able to articulate an argument against this terrible law to my neighbors and friends who are ignorant of its existence.

Tom, congrats on the fine work of keeping us educated, informed and orientated on these vitall 2A issues. There is no place of comfort in ignorance of our rights.

I find it wild that to have a CCW in California and maintain it. I now have to have twice as much training, but intern, my responsibility and rates have been reduced. Don’t you usually gain more responsibility and more access as you become more trained? So now that we’re going to be double trained we pretty much a loser ability to carry? This is so insane. I’m not even sure this is real life.

I like the "speedrun" format on occasion - gives us a rundown of what's important, but I also like your deep dives that provide more info and background. Thanks Tom!

You are very succinct in your analogies. I find it very easy to listen to you speak and I find you very understandable. Ty.

Great work counselor. I can verify the requirements to obtain a CCW in most of California are at least onerous not to mention expensive so the average citizen is unable to attempt the application process

I like the “speed run” approach for issues like this where a more prolonged version could become TMI.

Thanks for all your hard work for the community, and good luck with the Gundies.

I am tired of the wack job judges that think SCOTUS and inalienable rights don't matter.

Tom, I love your breakdowns, long and short. But it’s hard for me to sit through some of your long ones because of time. But when I do sit through them I get a greater understanding. If you can give me a few more short ones in the mix I’d be grateful but don’t let that cramp your style. Fight in your armor as needed. Can’t thank you enough for what you do that people like me can’t.

Tom, I find pretty much all of your videos fascinating trips down various rabbit holes.

Thank you for the video. Yes, it is crazy that we got an injunction one day and then a few days later, the injunction was overturned. Bonta's argument was invalid stating that Californians would be at increased risk if the injunction was allowed to stand. There was no additional risk, it's what has been in place since the Bruen decision, which is the crux of the States' argument. They do not like the Bruen decision and will do anything to prevent it from taking effect in this state. Is there any hope or chance that the USSC could see the overreach and just intervene on their own without waiting for the lower courts to issue a decision that most likely would be unfavorable to the 2A and then they would appeal to the USSC? Can they step in early?

Thank you Tom. I need people like you to explane this. I'm a black Smith and good at what I do. But when it comes to legal stuff, I look to people like you to explain it..

As a Native of CA, and formally a life-long Dem, I am completely against the laws that have come out of Sacremento. There has never been, and will never be, any real data that will support the follish claims that these laws save lives. All they want is controll! Actively looking to move out of state. Thank you for your reasoned explainations!

Tom are you and or the USCCA getting in on these lawsuits?? The 2A community needs to start putting their money together!! Not just Ca all over!! This is unconstitutional..

Tom, I really appreciate your efforts and information you disseminate to us. I, for one, would like a more in depth breakdown of the Bruen test.

Again, I thank you for all you do!
