I think Grace just doesn't understand how amazing Black Canary's combos look. Her moves are flashy by themselves, but the amount of combos look to be the cool part.
Also the gear system basically makes it so that if we don't like the character's outfit, we can just change it.

I love black canary in this game, her moves aren't flashy but a martial artist fight there moves don't need to be flashy, I love her canary cry

Canary is the primary Judo expert in DC. That's the character. don't like it? who cares. REAL DC fans appreciate the accuracy.

I think the bomb Black Canary used was inspired by the Canary cries Sarah Lance/White Canary used in Arrow season 2.

And Black Canary looks a lot like Sonya Blade from Netherrealm's Mortal Kombat X, so I think Black Canary wont be flashy to look at, but if used properly she might be one of the most devastating fighters.

In "Arrow", this character normally has a weapon like tonfas or a stick. I think this version of the character would be better off using a weapon like that.

I absolutely love black canary I get goosebumps when I watch her fight in this, her sonic scream gets me. I love that she looks like a REAL fighter, my friend is a mma fighter and this looks real!
