Την ετοιμότητα της Ρωσικής Ομοσπονδίας να προβεί σε αντίστοιχες κινήσεις και να απαντήσει έτσι στην απόφαση της Δύσης να αναπτύξει πυραυλικά συστήματα στο έδαφος της Γερμανίας, ανακοίνωσε σήμερα ο Ρώσος πρόεδρος Βλαντιμίρ Πούτιν, κατά τη διάρκεια ομιλίας του, που έλαβε χώρα στην Αγία Πετρούπολη, με αφορμή την Ημέρα του Ναυτικού, "ρίχνοντας" έτσι μια είδηση "βόμβα" και στέλνοντας ταυτόχρονα ένα μήνυμα προς όλους, ότι η Ρωσία λαμβάνει πολύ σοβαρά την προστασία της και είναι έτοιμη να ανταποδώσει σε οποιαδήποτε εχθρική ενέργεια προβεί η Δύση.
Αναλυτικότερα, ο Ρώσος πρόεδρος δήλωσε επακριβώς τα εξής:
"Αξιοσημείωτη είναι η δήλωση της αμερικανικής και της γερμανικής κυβέρνησης σχετικά με τα σχέδια ανάπτυξης αμερικανικών πυραυλικών συστημάτων ακριβείας μεγάλου βεληνεκούς στο έδαφος της Ομοσπονδιακής Γερμανικής Δημοκρατίας από το 2026.
Θα μπορούν να φτάνουν σε σημαντικές ρωσικές κρατικές και στρατιωτικές εγκαταστάσεις, στα διοικητικά και βιομηχανικά μας κέντρα και στις αμυντικές υποδομές μας.
Και ο χρόνος πτήσης προς στόχους στο έδαφός μας για τέτοιους πυραύλους, οι οποίοι στο μέλλον θα μπορούσαν να εξοπλιστούν με πυρηνικές κεφαλές, θα είναι περίπου δέκα λεπτά.
Παράλληλα, νωρίτερα, κατά τη διάρκεια ασκήσεων, οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες είχαν ήδη προχωρήσει στη μεταφορά πυραυλικών συστημάτων Typhoon από το έδαφός τους στη Δανία και τις Φιλιππίνες.
Αυτή η κατάσταση θυμίζει τα γεγονότα του Ψυχρού Πολέμου, που συνδέονται με την ανάπτυξη αμερικανικών πυραύλων μεσαίου βεληνεκούς Pershing στην Ευρώπη.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced today the readiness of the Russian Federation to make corresponding moves and thus respond to the decision of the West to deploy missile systems on the territory of Germany, during his speech, which took place in St. Petersburg, on the occasion of on Navy Day, thereby "dropping" a bombshell news and at the same time sending a message to everyone, that Russia takes its protection very seriously and is ready to retaliate against any hostile action taken by the West.
In more detail, the Russian president stated precisely the following:
"The US administration and the German government made a noteworthy statement concerning their plans to deploy US long-range precision missile systems in Germany in 2026.
The missiles could reach ranges of major Russian state and military facilities, administrative and industrial centres, and defence infrastructure. The flight time to targets on our territory of such missiles, which in the future may be equipped with nuclear warheads, would be about ten minutes.
The United States has already conducted exercises to practice deployment of Typhon missile systems from its territory to Denmark and the Philippines. This situation is reminiscent of the events of the Cold War related to the deployment of American medium-range Pershing missiles in Europe.
If the United States implements these plans, we will consider ourselves free from the previously assumed unilateral moratorium on the deployment of medium and shorter-range strike weapons, including increasing the capabilities of the coastal troops of our Navy.
