Apple's design philosophy has remained largely unchanged for the better part of the last decade. In addition to being simple, they are also iconic. For instance, everyone is familiar with the basic look of an iPhone, even if they've never owned or used one. This happens for two reasons. The first is that the design of the iPhone is relatively simple. There aren't too many sensors or overly bright colors. The second is that even though the iPhone has advanced from a technical standpoint, its look has remained mostly unchanged. This is a good method to future-proof a design.

I miss the designs of Jony Ive, he indeed was one of the few remaining successors of Steve at Apple

I think that while apple has made some absolutely terrible decisions, their philosophy of order and understandability before the niche requests of their customers is (somehow) logically sound. Everything they make is undeniably beautiful in its simplicity and the materials they use whereas windows and android are still building off the past trying to change it one step of the time. Apple has visionaries, while google and Microsoft have engineers.

than design a keyboard that worst than anything they created before in terms of subjective and functionalbility...than goes on to create a phone that breaks in your pocket...creates a ipad that bends in your bags...remove the headphone jack and replace it with nothing better or as good. lead the way to a notch City....creates a battery phone case.
