You are one of the only few geo channels that actually answer the question and/or explain the subject. Keep it up!

Shoutout to them having a grid strong enough to support the state during harsh weather. Meanwhile, if it drizzles in Texas we’re out of power for two weeks.

Been living in Florida my whole life. Never evacuated. Most I’ve done is put shutters up that didn’t even get hit. Most of the hurricanes don’t hit the south parts. Mainly west/central and up

This is only in America, East side of Asia (Pacific) get hit way more by hurricanes, though technically this could count as hurricanes are Atlantic and typhoons are Pacific.

Double checked to make sure as some1 said I was wrong, but top3 that get hit by tropical cyclone storms are all Asian countries:
1. China
2. Philippines
3. Japan

That's also one reason that makes The Bermuda Triangle so dangerous. That's where most of Florida's Hurricanes form

Lets pray for Floridans that suffered Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

Let us pray for the Filipinos too like me that recently got hit by Typhoon Kristine and One more coming Typhoon Leon or Kong-rey.

The Philippines gets hit by approximately 20 Typhoons per year.
