Sonic Movie 3 - What I Want

This is what I want to see in Sonic Movie 3 now that Sonic Movie 2 has released!

I said I had a theory on this movie last stream, and here it is: I think that the theme for this movie is going to center around compassion and loss. I feel as if each movie so far has been similar to how Kung Fu Panda and its trilogy was structured, centering around the three main aspects to a person: body, mind, and spirit. The first Sonic movie focused on friendship and how to achieve it, the second movie focused on responsibility, and I believe that this movie will center around Sonic having to learn compassion considering Shadow's traumatic past. He can't be his usual, happy go-lucky self around Shadow because that won't help him conquer his demons. Just my thoughts though.

Pat Casey actually talked about Shadow in an interview and he spoke about how Shadow's character was going to be which was a character about revenge and anger so it seems they'll keep Maria & Gerald

I really hope Tails gets a lot more spotlight in Sonic 3. I mean, he's Sonic's little bro and it wouldn't be fair for him to be overshadowed by other characters. I'd also love it if they reference his love for mints

One thing I'd really like to see in movie 3 is Shadow hijacking someone's motorcycle.

I will say this. I will be the happiest man alive if Live and Learn plays at some point in the movie. Even if it's like Shadow the Hedgehog where it was for six seconds during Super Shadow's transformation, I will cheer in the theater like I did for Super Sonic.

I have a theory that the Chaotix and Rouge might be introduced in the Knuckles show considering their ties to Knuckles, and then maybe Rouge could appear in the third movie, as she's a large part of the SA2 storyline.

One of the writers for Sonic 2, Pat Casey, actually came out and talked about how they could use Shadow in the third movie!

He basically said he's very much a match for Sonic with a different personality. But unlike Knuckles, who was misguided, Shadow is led by anger and revenge. When Sonic meets Shadow, he'll try to use the power of friendship like before but it won't work with someone like Shadow.

"Sonic's never had to deal with someone as emotionally damaged as Shadow."

I bet 10 rings that the writers will do all of the above and either traumatize the audience or create one of the best threequel films ever.

I really hope that they keep Shadow's backstory the same as the games. I really don't want it changed, but that may require a PG-13 rating, and I doubt that they will take the story that far. I'm sure that they could keep the story-beats though. They need to include things like Maria's death, Shadow's grief, Gerald's arrest, and his master plan to destroy humanity. I also think that the inclusion of Rouge would be great, but honestly, I think she would be a better fit if they were to introduce her in the Knuckles spin-off series.

I hope there's more Characters joining Sonic's team like Amy, Shadow, Rouge and others. And I hope the movie gets even more bigger like more amazing scenes.

YES, I've been saying the same thing - The best parts in S🌀NIC 2 were the scenes where Sonic was more serious such as the doorway scene with Robotnik; The fight scene at the temple with Knuckles and the end scenes too. Also enjoyed the parts that relate directly to the games such as the whole Labyrinth Zone style etc.

True. Something I genuinely enjoyed was how they showed Sonic's proficiency with a skateboard before him snowboarding. Like...it didn't come out of nowhere and BAM he just knew how to snowboard. He most likely took what he had learned from skateboarding and applied it to snowboarding. So, yeah. Loved that.

I’m hoping Tails gets a bit more time to shine but I also want to see Shadow more like how we saw Knuckles more than Tails in Sonic 2! More of Tails but also a lot of Shadow on the screen!

I hope the Sonic 3 Movie takes a lot of inspiration from Sonic Adventure 2. Knuckles searching for the Master Emerald shards, Tails using his shooting mech, etc. Obviously with Shadow being in the next movie, they gotta show Maria & Gerald Robotnik, Space Colony ARK, what GUN did, Chaos Control, and Biolizard.

I think the best way to work with the humans is to have them take care of the more exposition parts, like Randall (Rachel’s fiance/husband who’s a GUN agent) could help them find out more about Shadow, Gerald and Maria, those things all can be explained through the humans while the animals deal with the more action packed stuff

I NEED a scene with Super Sonic and Super Shadow with Live and Learn in the background for the finale. That would be amazing.

Sonic 2 was fantastic, I’m excited for sonic 3. I hope it focuses more on the CGI characters.

Seeing as how Jeff Fowler worked on Shadow The Hedgehog back in 2005, I'm cautiously optimistic for how they're gonna handle his arc

The biggest thing I want music wise is an epic orchestral version of Live and Learn to play at the climax of the movie

Also we obviously want more Sonic music, why are they so hesitation about something that everyone wants. Imagine if the movie opens up with Escape from the Ctiy.
