Last night bonobo absolutely crushed hulaween festival with his beautiful worldly Dj set, everyone letting loose and dancing to his deeply human vibe. This video is a totally different sound, but the absolute perfect thing to listen to the day after that cathartic and pounding bass experience. Break Apart brings the happy tears.

It was such a special treat to watch this from the sound booth...one of the many benefits of being a KEXP volunteer. <3

My word, the vocalist's voice is possibly one of the best I've ever heard. Absolutely fantastic! Such lovely subtleties that are incredibly difficult to control, but she nails it. Good job to the whole team. Loved it.

That moment at 8:20 or so where the drummer is just sitting there listening to szjerdene sing her heart out and nodding, grooving before going back into the beat and it's just visual poetry.
This whole performance is just a meal.
Thanks KEXP!

Not only Bonobo's studio albums are all extremely excellent production quality,
their live performances are all very well 'interpreted.'(from studio albums.)
Too bad Cheryl didn't host this live, like to see her showing affections toward Simon Green. :^)

Fantastic engineering again KEXP.
Mixing these atmospheric sounds is a beautiful art. And not easy.
You guys are the unsung heros.. keep up the great work.

Floating Points, Portico Quartet and Bonobo's live stuff all pleasantly in a similar vein.
Beautiful. Nice to hear a sax as a backing instument.
