I have really benefited from your channel. It has changed the way I think about options trading and I love it.

Good stuff Mark. Discovered CC’s thru a friend (and after losing $$$ the past 4 years being the “gambler”), and have loved watching your channel. Knowledge is growing!! Been doing simple CC’s since August and slowly building my account and experience. Excited for what’s ahead in the new year! 🤝

Mark.. this sounds like a great strategy. I might start with 5 contracts so I can get a better understanding of g of the strategy. A few weeks ago I bought 1 contract 122 strike with 19 sept exp. I’d really like to see you continue doing videos on the NVDA options campaign

So the only "risk" is, if NVDA goes up " a lot" you have to invest quite a bit of investment capital to roll it up/out?

Mark, thanks for the education! Question, why roll an OTM CC instead of letting it expire and selling a new CC? Seems expensive for no benefit?

Hi Mark. The only thing that concerns me is that when I set up the sale to cover the details box lists max loss as infinite. Can you explain why? Isn't my max loss for 1 contract equal to the loss I would have if my 100 shares were assigned and they went to zero?

Funny story, I actually got assigned on my SPY trades it was on the ex-dividend date lol this is the first time it ever happened to me in years of trading.

Are you rolling your long option at expirey with the short option, or do you hold onto the long optin for a few more cycles? I suspect you are losing some extrinisic value on your long option if you don't roll it frequently?!

Hi Mark, I am still confused on how it works when the intrinsic value shoots up. Can you please cover that in moe detail soon? Or, refer me to a previous video that does?

Happy New Year and thank you Mark, another great video. IF your long call was to ever be assigned, how do you cover those shorted shares?

Mark i own 300 shares of NVDA and have been selling OTM calls on them, currently selling Jan24 $165 calls, Ive never thought about selling ITM. Im thinking of rolling down and ITM like you talk about in your video and selling $129 -$130 range and squeezing some juice but I can't quite understand how I would not get called away. Thanks for your Videos !

Is the name of this strategy "Synthetic Covered Call" since you don't own the underlying stock? Great video and i plan on trying it.

Some Noob questions... not a sophisticated options trader...

So what are the positions that were taken?

1. Buy $90 Calls, 88 Delta, for $53.00 per share, 30 DTE (June) - $5300 / contract
2. Sell $130 Calls ITM, ?? delta, for $100.00 per share, 30 DTE? (June) - $10000 / Contract
3. Net Credit : $420 / Contract ??? (Not $470 / Contract?)

4. NVDA price at time of trade : $137.00

5. Stock must stay about $130, else net proceeds decline?

6. Somehow(?) we don't get assigned... even though The short $130 is $7 ITM?

7. If we get assigned we lose how much? (Depends on NVDA price at the time?)

8. How is it that a $90 call is cheaper than a $130 Call? Isn't %90 more ITM than $130?

9. What are the defensive moves?

But Mark I have a small $50k portfolio, can I do this strategy with say$20k on a less expensive stock? And can the trade set up be visualized with an options calculator such as Optionsfi or OptionsStrat?

Appreciate your videos & Have a great New Year

I think I missed this. There's some sort of additional premium benefit on top of the actual contract price when you sell the options for income? If you sell 35 contracts at $1000, that's $35, 000. Where does "juice" of $420 per contract ($14, 799) come from?? On a side note, what software is being used to view the option chain? I don't see the same data at my broker's site.
