Wrongly used hence the implausible reading ...1. The sleeve you put on was incorrectly positioned. It needs to be 1-2cm above the elbow point. 2. It's also important that the 'art' marker is aligned to the artery down the inner side of your arm. 3. The tube needs to follow down the inside of your arm to between your middle finger, with your arm resting on a table in front of you and your palm facing upwards.

Incorrectly used in two ways, firstly it needs to be well above the elbow, at least 1cm above the crease in the arm. Secondly the tube needs to be on the inside of the elbow. The cuff is marked with a dot and "ART" where it needs to line up. Both of these requirements are detailed in the instructions, not doing it properly could give you inaccurate results.
