The "Collect Straw at Missions" mod lets you bale straw while doing contracts. It's a good side hustle while making it feel like the straw isn't going to waste.

I know you're avoiding "cheaty" mods, but the only thing that makes veggie harvests fun is to get either the Colossus pack or one of the multifruit Holmer Terra Dos T4 mods that can harvest veggies as well as potatoes or sugar beet. Its FAR less annoying than the DeWulff one, since they have tanks (and if you want to stay realistic-ish you can leave a normal sized tank instead of million liter tanks or 50m vaccuum headers).

I know you don't like tedding in game because you don't do it IRL, but just the 5 bailing jobs available @2:14 are worth almost $58, 000. Have you considered leasing the equipment from one contract to quickly knock out a few of those bailing jobs? Seems like good money to me.

Little trick for you Pickle. The field 71 bailing contract can be exploited. If they want hay, dont use the tedder. If the want sillage, just downt wrap the bails. Bail up some grass and take it to the animal dealer. 40k+ profit and no fines for cancelling the contract

The best thing for sugar beats or carrots would be to have the harvester dump into a dump cart and that dump cart load tractors with trailers....

They weren't harvesting beats or any other root crop, but I seen someone use follow me to set up a worker on a silage chopper and a worker on a cart and then the player went and did something else. I don't remember who it was though, sorry. Also I think the chopper was on course play.

With thoose money, you can buy metal mine and iron factory, put output on furnance to sell and just top up every day, easy 60-90k a day

you can get 82s pallet mod and put it on top of the carrot harvester that way you dont have to use a cart.

I use course play with the follow me mod, For course play I just drive in the field and generate course automatically. I can't do much with it other wise .

The collection straw mod helps. So does the cheating Suger Beat Harvester that does all the Root Crops. Both have been approved by giants. They help with the vegetable contracts. Might consider for quality of life
